This project comprises the supply of a large-scale commercial greenhouse structure located in Mangrove Mountain, NSW, configured using the Redpath Ultraspan® 10.65 m series. The building extends approximately 53.25 m in width and 54 m in length, delivering a total covered area of around 2,875 m² across five spans, with a maximum column height of 4 m and a consistent 3 m bay spacing.
The structure utilises a mechanically ventilated roof system incorporating five double ridge vents driven by multiple three-phase motor systems, enabling controlled air exchange and internal climate regulation. Additional environmental control is supported through automated roll-up sidewalls and endwall ventilation systems, supplemented by internal 50% open screen systems for optimised light diffusion and thermal management.
Cladding is provided through a combination of Hortiplus roof and gable film, Polyweave roll-up walls, and 30% white windbreak screening, delivering a balance of durability, ventilation, and environmental protection. The structure also incorporates an integrated gutter and drainage system, including multiple internal and external gutters and rainheads, ensuring effective stormwater management across the large footprint.
Additional features include twin-stud endwall framing, alloy rail systems with Duralock II clipping, motorised ventilation drives, and high-capacity air circulation through multiple Vortex fans. Overall, the system is designed as a high-performance, modular greenhouse solution, optimised for large-scale horticultural production with a strong focus on environmental control, durability, and operational efficiency
