This project comprises the construction of a retractable outdoor screen structure located in Arcadia, NSW, designed to provide adaptable weather protection and environmental control for outdoor spaces. The system is supported by a structural steel framework incorporating welded SHS truss end frames, delivering high lateral stability and efficient load distribution across the span.
Primary vertical support is provided by RHS steel columns, forming a robust and durable structural system capable of accommodating the operational loads associated with retractable screening elements. Steel cable end stays are integrated into the design to provide additional bracing and tensioning, enhancing overall structural rigidity and resistance to wind loads.
The combined system delivers a reliable and low-maintenance solution, enabling flexible operation of the retractable screen while maintaining structural performance and durability in exposed outdoor conditions.
