This project comprises the design and construction of a large-scale horticultural netting installation at South Lismore NSW, delivering approximately 230,700 m² (23.7 ha) of covered growing area. The structure incorporates a 5 m high canopy system supported by galvanised 90NB steel columns, founded on screw anchor and screw pile system footings, optimising installation efficiency and reducing construction time.
The installation includes a fully integrated enclosure with 20 mm quad netting applied across the roof canopy and angled perimeter walls, providing uniform environmental moderation and crop protection. Structural integrity is achieved through galvanised cable systems and proprietary cast steel connection nodes, designed to eliminate heat-affected zones and minimise long-term corrosion and maintenance requirements.
