The tall 3-metre post height is critical for operational efficiency, providing necessary clearance for essential small farm machinery and ensuring that overhead irrigation systems achieve the best possible floor coverage.

Each structure includes a wide 6.5m walk-in opening as standard. This large aperture ensures easy movement of equipment and supplies, with options available to add more openings, sliding doors, or full-drop manual roll-up curtains.

The flexible design means you can easily upgrade or swap out claddings for different seasons or crops, such as different grades of shade fabric, insect screening, or netting to precisely manage light and protection levels.

The shadehouses are designed to be secured either by being concreted directly into the ground or by connecting the steel poles to your own pre-rammed timber posts, offering two straightforward footing options for rapid installation.

The Redpath difference

Quick-fit, pre-cut assembly

The entire steel framework is pre-cut and ready for immediate assembly. Vertical poles feature a simple, quick-fit four-way slide connector, enabling the construction of the overhead and sidewall rails using only basic tools and skills.

Superior lateral stability

The flat roof grid is reinforced by strategically placed sloping walls around the structure’s external perimeter. This smart design provides excellent lateral stability and effective wind deflection, making the shelter suited for most standard sites.

Total cladding flexibility

Standard cladding is commercial-grade 45/50% shadecloth, but the design allows you to fit different cladding types or grades to various sections of the shadehouse. Utilising the Duralock aluminium fastening system, you can easily customise the roof and sidewalls for zoned environmental control.

Durable & long-life materials

We ensure lasting value by constructing the entire frame from galvanised steel. For added longevity and a secure base, stainless steel cables are fitted around the base edge of the building, protecting the structure's critical anchor points.
